PELVIC FLOOR SURGERY
David is one of a few surgeons in Melbourne with dedicated interest in pelvic floor disorders including faecal incontinence, obstructed defaecation and rectal prolapse.
He provides a comprehensive anorectal physiology diagnostic service for his patients. He is well-versed in the latest abdominal and perineal approaches for prolapse repair, as well as sacral nerve stimulation for faecal incontinence.
Through his affiliation with The Women's, he works in close collaboration with specialist urogynaecologists for patients with multi-compartmental prolapse.
GENERAL SURGERY AND ENDOSCOPY
David treats a variety of general surgical conditions including:

gallstones
appendicitis and appendix mass
pilonidal disease
David also has GESA certification to perform colonoscopy.
